Can getting rid of that Awfull Sulphur Smell in your water save your life?

A couple of years ago a customer called me to check out a problem

with Sulphur smell  from their water.

She mentioned that they had only lived in this house a year or so but the sulphur smell in the water was a big problem.   I tested the water and mentioned that yes it had iron and sulphur in it and she needed an iron/sulphur filter to get rid of the problem.   She said that she wanted to go ahead and purchase the equipment but she wanted it installed as soon as possible, which we did.

When I called her a few weeks after the installation to make sure everything was okay with the installation of this equipment she said “you saved my life!”   Her response caught me off guard as it seemed a little extreme so she went on to explain “ever since we moved into this house my children complained about the smell of the water every day, non stop.   Whenever their friends came over, they too complained about the smell.   I was becoming known as the mom with smelly water.   It was defining me as a smelly mom!   By getting rid of the smell, you saved me from this embarrassment, that’s what I meant by you saving my life!”

What a great story!   The removal of the sulphur smell became so important that it was  a huge priority  for this customer until the problem was solved.
