Please help Team Water Store raise $2000 in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe

We’ve put together a team for the Ninth Annual Amazing Rally in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe.  This event consists of driving through out Huronia and competing in challenges at 15 or so checkpoints during 5 hours on Sunday, May 28, 2017. For more information see

Riding along with Team Water Store during the 2013 Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe Amazing Rally

You can sponsor me electronically at or read more about the event below.

This is the sixth year that Team Water Store is participating and we’ve upped our game to include another team member.  Brian Atkinson, brings many resources to our team including his ability to Golf, knowledge of wine and being a retired teacher, should add a vast amount of knowledge to help us answer those tough questions along the way.  Brian will be chauffeuring us in his AIR CONDITIONED 1989 Lincoln Town Car (“the limo”) which will be appreciated after last years sweltering event.  Check out our team photo below.

We still have our core 3 members from the last 5 years, so should the inevitable happen with an almost 30 year old rally car, we will have three people to push and Brian to steer.

My wife Sheryl, brother Rick and myself complete our team.  Sheryl’s the artist in the group, who will hopefully be inspiring us with her positive thinking during the event, Rick is the brains and we’ll be relying on him to solve some of the challenges, while I will be navigating.

I am asking you to sponsor me for this event. Last year our team raised about $1500 and I am hoping that, with your support this year, we will reach our team goal of $2000!  Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe is a great cause and any amount you choose to sponsor me for would be greatly appreciated.  You can sponsor me electronically at or you can stop by The Water Store in Midland and complete the pledge form there.

Thank you for your support.

PS.  Should you decide to come out to cheer us on, the event finishes at 4pm at Saint Marie among the Huron’s but it’s far more likely that you’ll see us at the start, at the Pillsbury Parking lot at 11am than you will see us, on time, at the finish…just sayin!
